Rochester Police Searching for New Bedford Man Wanted on Multiple Felony Charges
ROCHESTER, Mass. — The Rochester Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a New Bedford man wanted on several felony charges.
As part of the department’s weekly “Fugitive Friday” initiative, police identified Dana Snell of New Bedford as being wanted on an active warrant issued out of Wareham District Court. According to investigators, Snell is facing charges that include

malicious destruction of property over $1,200, assault and battery, attempted murder, strangulation, assault and battery on a disabled person, and committing a felony.
Police say officers developed probable cause during their investigation and subsequently sought criminal charges through the court system. Authorities have not released additional details regarding the incidents that led to the charges.
Snell has reportedly pleaded not guilty to the charges in court, according to information shared by law enforcement and local media sources.
The Rochester Police Department is encouraging anyone with information about Snell’s whereabouts to contact the department. Officials remind residents not to approach or attempt to apprehend wanted individuals on their own and instead report any sightings directly to law enforcement.
Anyone with information can contact the Rochester Police Department or submit tips through appropriate law enforcement channels.
