Lakeville MA-19-Year-Old Lakeville Man Identified as Victim in Fatal Boston ShootingA 19-year-old Lakeville man has been identified as the victim of a fatal shooting in Boston earlier this week.According to the Boston Police
Department, officers assigned to District B-3 responded to reports of a person shot at approximately 7:38 p.m. Monday in the area of 115 Milton Avenue in the Dorchester neighborhood.When officers arrived, they found Jalen J. Tavares, 19, of Lakeville, suffering from a gunshot wound behind the building. Boston EMS pronounced him dead at the scene. The Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating the shooting. Authorities have not announced any arrests or released information on a possible suspect or motive. Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact the Boston Police Homicide Unit at 617-343-4470. Anonymous tips can also be submitted through the department’s CrimeStoppers program by calling 1-800-494-TIPS, texting “TIP” to CRIME (27463), or submitting information online. This remains an active and ongoing homicide investigation. Anyone with information that could assist detectives is encouraged to come forward.
