Fire Damages Wareham Dog Treat Bakery
WAREHAM, Mass. — A fire caused damage Tuesday evening at a Wareham business known for making homemade dog treats, but no injuries were reported.
Firefighters responded to a commercial fire alarm at Preppy Puppy Bakery, located at 2380 Cranberry Highway, at approximately 6:50 p.m. Upon arrival, crews found smoke coming from the building and quickly worked to bring the fire under control.
Additional firefighters from Onset and Carver assisted at the scene, while the Middleborough Fire Department provided a large ventilation fan to help remove smoke from the building.

No employees, customers, or animals were injured.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Fire officials said there are no indications the fire was intentionally set.
Damage estimates have not yet been released.
