Marshfield Man Faces Felony Charges After Duxbury Beach Incident
Duxbury MA-A Marshfield man is in custody following a series of reckless driving incidents in Duxbury that culminated in a late-night arrest at Duxbury Beach on June 23.
Local authorities were first alerted to the situation around 9:30 p.m. on Chandler Street, where witnesses reported seeing the operator of a white Jeep Wrangler vomiting outside the vehicle. Following a search, officers eventually located the vehicle at the Duxbury Beach East Lot at approximately 11:00 p.m.
According to police reports, the suspect was observed driving at high speeds, performing “donuts” in the sand, and operating the vehicle onto protected dunes.
When officers initiated a traffic stop, they discovered a 4-year-old child sleeping in the backseat. The child was unharmed and was safely reunited with their mother shortly thereafter.
The situation escalated during the arrest when the operator, identified by police as 37-year-old Michael Corbo of Marshfield, reportedly admitted to being intoxicated and subsequently resisted officers. An altercation ensued, resulting in minor injuries to a responding officer who was kicked into a cruiser door.

- Child Endangerment while OUI
- Assault and Battery on a Police Officer
- Resisting Arrest
Corbo was taken into custody without further incident.
