Officer Samantha Pelrine of the Plymouth Police Department was removed from duty on March 17 after authorities were notified of an active investigation by the Massachusetts State Police.

According to court filings, the officer’s adopted son was granted a restraining order against both Pelrine and her husband. The filing includes allegations of sexual abuse.
