A jury in the murder trial of Lindsay Clancy is expected to visit the Duxbury home where prosecutors allege she killed her three young children in one of the most closely watched criminal cases in Massachusetts in recent years.
The court-approved visit is intended to give jurors a better understanding of the layout of the home as they continue hearing testimony and reviewing evidence presented during the trial. Rather than serving as new evidence, the visit is designed to provide context that may help jurors evaluate witness testimony and understand where key events are alleged to have occurred.
According to reports from the courtroom, jurors will be allowed to view portions of the residence, including the exterior, the first and second floors, and the basement. Clancy is charged in connection with the deaths of her three children, who died in January 2023. She has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
