Town of Marion, Drought Status
The Energy and Environmental Affairs (EEA) has declared that Southeastern Massachusetts is currently within a Level 2 drought.

Please be reminded that mandatory water restrictions are currently in effect through September 15th.
The use of any outside watering is prohibited except between the hours of 6 AM – 8 AM and 6 PM – 8 PM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for even street numbered addresses and Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturday for odd street numbered addresses. Residents may wash vehicles and water plants on Sundays by means of a hand-held hose between the hours of 6 AM – Noon.
This restriction will be strictly enforced. Any person violating this State of Water Supply Conservation Bylaw shall be liable to the Town in the amount of $50.00 for the first violation and $100.00 for each subsequent violation.
