Middleboro Man Tried to Flee Through Window Before Stabbing Arrest, Police Say
Middleboro, Mass. — A man is facing charges following a late-night stabbing in Middleboro that police say happened during an argument at a home.
According to authorities, officers were called to a residence on Center Street around 11:15 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, after reports of a stabbing. When police arrived, they found a man who had suffered a stab wound to the back of his head.

Investigators say the incident unfolded during a small gathering where an argument broke out between several people. Police allege the victim was assaulted and stabbed before the suspects fled the scene.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police later identified two suspects in the case. Jason Hancock, 43, of Middleborough, was arrested at his home and charged with kidnapping, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery, and witness intimidation. A second suspect, 46-year-old Nicholas Bernier, also of Middleborough, was charged with similar offenses and remains at large, according to police.
The investigation is ongoing.
