WATER CONSTRUCTION UPDATE Pembroke
The Town of Pembroke’s water system improvement project on West Elm Street (from approximately #64 West Elm Street to #423 West Elm Street, including Old West Elm Street) and Dwelley Street (from the West Elm Street intersection to #105 Dwelley Street) continues to make progress. K&K Excavation Co., Inc. of Milton, MA, is currently completing water main installation, service connections, and related infrastructure improvements.
Work related to water system infrastructure is now anticipated to be substantially completed by October 2026, with remaining restoration and final site work to follow. Access for residents and emergency vehicles will continue to be maintained throughout construction. Motorists may experience temporary traffic delays and are encouraged to seek alternate routes when possible. Construction activities will continue during regular work hours, Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Construction activities involve heavy equipment, machinery, and materials. Please use caution when traveling through the work zone and keep children and pets a safe distance from construction operations.
The Town has retained Apex Companies, LLC as the Engineering Representative for the project. Apex personnel will continue to provide construction oversight and serve as the Town’s liaison for communication throughout the remainder of the work.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation as these important water system improvements are completed.
