Plymouth to Honor Veterans During 2026 Memorial Day Parade on May 25
Plymouth Ma-The Town of Plymouth will hold its annual Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 25, 2026, bringing the community together to honor the men and women who served our country
The parade is scheduled to begin at Memorial Hall at 9:30 a.m. and will travel along Memorial Drive through downtown Plymouth. If bad weather forces changes, indoor ceremonies will instead be held at Memorial Hall beginning at 10:30 a.m.
This year’s Memorial Day event will be led by Roxanne Whitbeck, Director of Veteran Services. Dr. Paul Jehle, Senior Pastor of the New Testament Church in Cedarville, will serve as the guest speaker during the ceremony.
Following the parade procession, a special tribute will take place at the Training Green where the names of Plymouth veterans who passed away over the past year will be read aloud in remembrance. Members of local veterans organizations will then continue to the State Pier for a Sea Dedication ceremony.
Residents are encouraged to attend and show their support for local veterans and military families.
Parade Route
The parade will travel east on Memorial Drive toward the waterfront before turning onto Water Street, South Park Street, and Court Street. Ceremonies and wreath-laying tributes will take place at several memorial locations throughout town, including the WWII Memorial, Spanish War Veterans Memorial, Korean and Vietnam Memorials, Town Brook Bridge WWI Memorial, and the Soldiers & Sailors of Plymouth monument on the Training Green.
