Plymouth MA-A tragic accident in claimed the life of a 70-year-old man Friday afternoon after a tree limb fell on him while he was cutting down a tree with a friend.
Emergency crews were called to a home on Micajah Pond Road around 3 p.m. after reports of a serious accident involving a falling tree. Authorities say the man was struck by a large limb during the tree removal.
The victim was rushed to the hospital but later died from his injuries. His name has not yet been released by officials.
Police and investigators are continuing to look into the incident, but it appears to be a tragic accident.
