Rochester Police Searching for New Bedford Man Wanted on Multiple Felony Charges
ROCHESTER, Mass. — The Rochester Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a New Bedford man wanted on several felony charges.
As part of the department’s weekly “Fugitive Friday” initiative, police identified Dana Snell of New Bedford as being wanted on an active warrant issued out of Wareham District Court. According to investigators, Snell is facing charges that include
malicious destruction of property over $1,200, assault and battery, attempted murder, strangulation, assault and battery on a disabled person, and committing a felony.
Police say officers developed probable cause during their investigation and subsequently sought criminal charges through the court system. Authorities have not released additional details regarding the incidents that led to the charges.
Snell has reportedly pleaded not guilty to the charges in court, according to information shared by law enforcement and local media sources.
