Former Massachusetts RMV Worker From Bridgewater Accused of Running Bribery Scheme
QUINCY, Mass. — A former Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV) employee and a second individual are facing criminal charges in connection with an alleged bribery scheme involving vehicle title and registration services, according to CBS Boston.

Ashlee Jordan, 29, of Bridgewater, formerly worked as a title clerk at the Quincy RMV. She is charged with bribery, unwarranted privilege and conspiracy to commit title fraud.
Stanley Nazaire, 47, of Somerville, is charged with bribery and solicitation to commit bribery.
According to the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office, Jordan allegedly accepted personal payments in exchange for speeding up RMV transactions and allowing customers to bypass standard procedures.
Investigators allege Jordan used her position to operate an unauthorized private service that provided customers with preferential treatment. Prosecutors say some transactions were completed overnight after customers paid additional fees.
Jordan began working at the RMV in 2019. Her responsibilities included issuing duplicate vehicle titles, processing ownership changes, correcting title information and recording liens.
Authorities allege the scheme took advantage of processing delays that increased during the COVID-19 pandemic, when the Quincy RMV facility closed to the public.
Prosecutors also allege Jordan promoted her services at a car enthusiast’s social club while wearing her RMV identification lanyard.
Nazaire is accused of acting as an intermediary by approaching towing companies and promoting Jordan’s services. Investigators also allege he made personal payments to Jordan to expedite his own title transactions.
The Attorney General’s Office said Jordan’s alleged earnings from the scheme exceeded her regular RMV salary.
Both defendants were arraigned in Norfolk Superior Court on October 27, 2026, and released on personal recognizance, according to authorities.
The case is scheduled to return to court on December 15.
The charges remain allegations, and both defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
