Vehicle Crash Reported at Brant Rock Beach Parking Lot

MARSHFIELD, Mass. — Fire and EMS crews responded Friday afternoon to a reported motor vehicle crash in the parking lot at Brant Rock Beach, according to public safety dispatch traffic.

The incident was reported at approximately 3:28 p.m. on August 28 at the Brant Rock Beach parking lot on South Street in Marshfield.

Dispatchers sent fire and medical units to the scene after receiving a report of a motor vehicle accident. Radio traffic indicated that Engine 5 and a paramedic unit were dispatched to the area.

According to the dispatch recording, responding crews were advised that a second call had also been received regarding the incident.

The radio traffic also included references to a possible vehicle fire. Fire personnel were dispatched to investigate, and Engine 5 later reported arriving at the scene.

The available dispatch recording does not provide information about the number of vehicles involved, whether anyone was injured, or the extent of any damage.

During the response, dispatchers also discussed a separate phone-based call that apparently disconnected. Attempts to return that call reportedly reached a T-Mobile service line rather than the original caller. Dispatchers said the available location information covered a broad area.

Fire crews ultimately arrived at the Brant Rock Beach parking lot to assess the reported crash.

At this time, no additional details about the circumstances of the crash, possible injuries or whether anyone was transported to a hospital have been confirmed.

The information comes from publicly available emergency dispatch audio. The CrimeRadar listing states that its transcript is automatically generated from live dispatch audio and may contain inaccuracies. It is not an official police or fire department report.

Plimoth Today will update this story if additional information becomes available from local authorities.
