DELANO ROAD – DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS MARION DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
The Marion Department of Public Works, through the Contractor J&R Resendes Corp., will begin drainage improvements in Delano Road in the vicinity of 290 Delano Road starting on Tuesday August 18th, 2026. Work is anticipated to be completed on Friday September 4th, 2026. Schedule and completion of all work is subject to change due to weather conditions and unforeseen circumstances.
Delano Road will be closed to through traffic from the intersection at Cross Neck Road to N. Great Hill Drive starting Tuesday August 18th, 2026 through Tuesday August 25th, 2026 (excluding Saturday and Sunday), and on Tuesday September 1st, 2026 and Wednesday September 2nd, 2026, from 7:00AM to 4:00PM. Driveway access for residents within the road closure limits will be maintained, but delays can be expected. Emergency vehicles will have access at all times.
During times outside of the road closure, every effort will be made to minimize inconvenience to residents and motorists, but through traffic can expect delays and should seek alternate routes.
Please do not park any vehicles along the roadway during the construction period. As always please, slow down and use caution while traveling through construction areas.
