Daytime Westbound Lane Closure on Samoset Street in Effect Tuesday, Aug. 18, and Wednesday, Aug. 19 Plymouth ma
The Town of Plymouth announces that a daytime lane closure with traffic detours will be in effect on Tuesday, Aug. 18, and Wednesday, Aug. 19, while tree clearing is being completed on Samoset Street.
Samoset Street will be closed to westbound traffic from Standish Avenue to Westerly Road from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday to allow for contractors to perform tree clearing at the site of the West Plymouth Booster Station.
During the closure of Samoset Street, westbound traffic will turn right onto Standish Avenue from Samoset Street, continue west onto Alden Street, and travel south down Westerly Road.
Community members should note that this detour will not impact drivers’ ability to access Route 3 on- and off-ramps. Eastbound traffic on Samoset Street will not be impacted.
