Scituate, Mass. — A boat named Land Escape reportedly sank Tuesday at the Jericho Road State Boat Ramp in Scituate, according to emergency dispatch information.
The incident occurred at the public boat launch on Jericho Road along Scituate Harbor. Emergency responders were dispatched after the vessel was reported as a “sinker,” indicating the boat had taken on water and sunk.
There were no immediate reports of injuries, and the cause of the sinking has not been released. It is also unclear whether the boat has been recovered or if any fuel spill occurred.
