Patrick Clancy Remarries and Begins New Chapter Following Family Tragedy

Patrick Clancy Remarries as He Continues Rebuilding His Life After Unimaginable Family Tragedy

DUXBURY, Mass. — More than three years after the heartbreaking loss of his three children, Patrick Clancy has quietly remarried and is beginning a new chapter in his life, according to reports that emerged during the ongoing Lindsay Clancy murder trial.

Patrick, the former husband of Lindsay Clancy, has remained largely out of the public eye since January 2023, when his children — Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and 8-month-old Callan — were killed inside the family’s Duxbury home. Lindsay Clancy has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity and is currently standing trial on charges related to their deaths.

Court proceedings this week confirmed that Patrick has remarried and is now living in New York with his new wife, a fertility physician. News of his remarriage became public during a hearing in Plymouth Superior Court as attorneys discussed issues related to the trial and Patrick’s efforts to protect his family’s privacy.

In the years since the tragedy, Patrick has spoken publicly about the devastating impact the loss of his children has had on his life. He has also advocated for greater awareness of maternal mental health while continuing to honor the memories of Cora, Dawson, and Callan. Earlier this year, he filed a wrongful death lawsuit against several healthcare providers, alleging failures in Lindsay Clancy’s psychiatric care before the deaths of the children.

Despite enduring an unimaginable loss, Patrick has consistently asked for privacy as he continues to heal. Recent court filings also sought to prevent the public release of graphic evidence, including autopsy photographs and recordings of his emotional 911 call, arguing that the material should remain protected out of respect for the children and their loved ones.

While the criminal trial continues, many people across Massachusetts and beyond have followed Patrick’s journey with compassion. His remarriage marks a significant personal milestone after years of grief, healing, and rebuilding a life forever changed by tragedy.

At Plimoth Today, we recognize that no one can replace the three children Patrick lost. We hope this new chapter brings him peace, healing, and happiness. We wish Patrick and his wife nothing but the very best as they move forward together while continuing to honor the memories of Cora, Dawson, and Callan.
