Kingston MA: Detectives Arrest 41-Year-Old Man Following Child Exploitation Investigation
Kingston, Mass. – A months-long investigation by Kingston Police detectives has led to the arrest of a 41-year-old Massachusetts man accused of online crimes involving a juvenile.
According to Kingston Police, detectives began investigating after a 16-year-old student reported suspicious online interactions to the School Resource Officer at Silver Lake Regional High School. During the investigation, detectives identified the suspect despite his alleged use of a false online identity.
On Monday, detectives traveled to Boston and arrested Joseph Cassio, 41, on an arrest warrant. He is charged with Posing or Exhibiting a Child in a State of Nudity or Sexual Conduct. Police allege he solicited explicit images from the juvenile and engaged in sexually explicit online conversations.

Cassio was transported back to Kingston Police Headquarters before being arraigned in Plymouth District Court. He was ordered held on bail and is scheduled to return to court at a later date.
The investigation remains active. Anyone with additional information is encouraged to contact Kingston Police. The charges are allegations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
