MARSHFIELD, MA — Fire crews were called to a Marshfield residence after reports of burning wires inside the home, according to initial emergency information.
Residents reportedly noticed a burning smell and possible electrical issue before contacting authorities. Firefighters responded to assess the situation and ensure there was no active fire spread within the structure.
At this time, there is no official confirmation of injuries or whether any evacuation was required. The incident appears to be connected to an electrical wiring issue, a common cause of residential fire scares in the area.
Crews are expected to complete a full safety check of the home and determine whether electrical repairs will be needed before power is restored.
This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
