Pursuit in Middleborough Ends With Multiple Arrests
MIDDLEBOROUGH MA— A police pursuit through Middleborough on Sunday morning ended with multiple arrests after officers tracked a vehicle along Route 44 before bringing it to a stop near Route 105.
According to authorities, the incident began shortly before 10 a.m. when Middleborough Police attempted to stop a vehicle. During the pursuit, officers used StarChase GPS technology to monitor the vehicle’s location while maintaining a safe distance.
The chase continued eastbound on Route 44 before state and local police coordinated efforts to stop the vehicle. The pursuit came to an end near Route 105 after spike strips were deployed, disabling the Chevrolet sedan.


Massachusetts State Police confirmed that both the driver and a passenger were taken into custody without further incident. Video from the scene also showed a state trooper carrying an infant away from the vehicle. Officials have not released information about the child’s condition or whether the child was related to those involved.
Authorities have not yet identified the suspects or announced what charges they may face. The investigation remains active, and additional details are expected to be released as police continue their work.
