CASE SUMMARY

The defendant, Thomas D. Campbell (63, of Marshfield, MA), remains under active prosecution regarding charges stemming from a March 2026 incident at the Paul Pratt Memorial Library in Cohasset. Campbell was apprehended following a forensic investigation into a recording device—an altered iPod Nano—which was discovered by library staff concealed within a facility restroom.

CHARGES FILED

The Commonwealth has charged the defendant with the following:

  • Recording Individuals in a State of Nudity: In violation of M.G.L. c. 272, § 105.
  • Illegal Wiretapping: In violation of M.G.L. c. 272, § 99.

CURRENT PROCEDURAL STATUS
