- Location: Parking lot behind Cardoso Café (146 Montello Street), near the intersection of Lincoln Street and West Railroad Avenue in Brockton.
- Circumstances: Police say Brandao was involved in a physical altercation shortly before being struck by a vehicle. Witnesses and surveillance footage confirmed multiple people were present at the scene.
Brandao was transported by ambulance to Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital, then flown to Boston Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
