
Plymouth County MASS-Residents across should be aware that the will begin truck-based mosquito spraying operations starting June 1 and continuing through October 2026.
The spraying program targets nuisance mosquitoes and mosquitoes that may carry viruses such as Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE) and West Nile Virus.
When Does Spraying Take Place?
Truck-mounted mosquito spraying will occur:
- Monday through Friday
- Between 2:00 a.m. and sunrise
Which Areas Will Be Sprayed?
Daily spray routes will be posted by 3:00 p.m. for the following day on the official mosquito control website:

How Residents Can Request Spraying
Beginning May 26, residents may request mosquito spraying for their neighborhood by:
- Using the online request form
- Calling 781-585-5450
Requests may also be submitted anytime by:
- Fax: 781-582-1276
- Mail or in person: 272 South Meadow Road

Residents who provide an email address during the request process may receive advance notification before spraying occurs in their area.
Chemicals Used During Spraying
The mosquito control program listed the following products for 2026 operations:
- Duet ULV — EPA Reg. #1021-1795-8329
- Zenivex E4 RTU — EPA Reg. #2724-807
- Suspend SC — EPA Reg. #432-763
Officials say all applications are conducted according to label requirements and state regulations.
How To Opt Out of Spraying

Officials clarified that does not conduct its own mosquito spraying operations. All mosquito spraying in the area is handled exclusively through Plymouth County Mosquito Control.
