Hanson Man Facing Numerous Charges of Child Rape and Human Trafficking
Middleborough MA — A 41-year-old Hanson man is in custody following a joint investigation into a series of alleged sexual assaults and the exploitation of a minor across several local communities.
Richard Kielczweski was arrested late Friday, April 24, after investigators from Hanson, Halifax, and Middleboro police departments, along with Massachusetts State Police, linked him to crimes involving a 15-year-old male victim.
According to Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz and Hanson Police Chief Michael Casey, the investigation began Friday when authorities received reports of sexual assaults and the creation of child sexual abuse material.
The charges against Kielczweski span three different jurisdictions where the alleged crimes occurred:
- Middleboro: One count of witness intimidation and enticing a child under 16.
- Hanson: Three counts of pay for sexual conduct with a child under 18, two counts of rape of a child (aggravated by a 10-year age difference), and one count each of rape of a child with force, posing/exhibiting a child in a sexual act, and trafficking persons under 18 for sexual servitude.
- Halifax: Two counts each of rape of a child (aggravated by a 10-year age difference) and pay for sexual conduct with a child under 18, and one count of trafficking persons under 18 for sexual servitude.
Kielczweski is currently being held on $250,000 bail. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Monday, April 27, in Plymouth District Court.
Authorities noted that the investigation remains active and ongoing.
