According to authorities, Plympton Police followed up on information uncovered during that initial motor vehicle stop, eventually building a case through surveillance, intelligence gathering, and coordination with regional partners.
When officers moved in to execute the search warrant, they reported seizing a substantial quantity of suspected cocaine—about 449 grams—along with $13,040 in cash, multiple Xanax bars, and additional materials believed to be tied to drug packaging and distribution.
As a result of the investigation, Nicholas Thatcher of Plympton was taken into custody and charged with trafficking cocaine (over 200 grams), possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance, and possession of a Class C substance.
