Pavement Preservation Project: Scheduled to Begin on 10/19/2026-Marion

The Town of Marion, through their paving contractor Indus, will be crack sealing the following roadways on Monday October 19, 2026 through Wednesday October 21, 2026:

A Crack Seal is a minimally disruptive, preventative maintenance surface treatment designed to prevent accelerated deterioration of a street. It consists of applying a mixture of asphalt cement and reinforcing fibers in and over cracks in pavement.

Work will not start before 7:00AM and will finish around 3:00PM. Schedule and completion of all work is subject to change due to weather conditions and unforeseen circumstances. We will do our best to keep you informed.

Please do not park vehicles or equipment on the roadway during the construction period. Every effort will be made to minimize inconvenience to customers and motorists. Motorists can expect delays while traveling through the construction area and should seek alternate routes.

Please contact the Department of Public Works (DPW) should you have any questions: (508) 748-3540 Monday – Friday 7:00AM to 3:30PM. For emergencies outside of the regular DPW office hours, please contact the Police Department and they will relay any concerns to the appropriate Town Department: (508) 748-1212. Your patience and cooperation are greatly appreciated.
