Construction Notice: Soil Test Borings on Manomet Avenue Beginning Monday, Oct. 19 Plymouth
The Town of Plymouth would like to notify residents that soil test borings for drainage wick well design for Manomet Avenue between Brewster Avenue to Briggs Road are expected to start the week of October 19th. Barring any inclement weather and unforeseen circumstances, work is expected to occur between the hours of 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday. We anticipate this work will take approximately one (1) week to complete.
Traffic cones/barrels and signage will be in place to alert motorists and pedestrians of the construction activity. Residents may expect temporary parking restrictions, minor traffic delays, and possible daytime detours. We ask that you drive carefully and be alert to activity in the area.
We are asking that residents do not park their cars on the street within the work zone during the hours of 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Individual driveways should remain accessible during the work.
The Town of Plymouth and our contractor Geosearch, Inc. will make every effort to minimize these inconveniences to residents and visitors to the area. However, due to the inherent nature of construction, some level of disruption may occur. Your cooperation with this important public works project is greatly appreciated.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Town Engineer Richard Bosse at 508-747-1620 ext. 10125.
