⚠️ UPDATE: National Grid Planned Power Outage – Impact Area Reduced ⚠️

The Town of Whitman has received an updated list of properties expected to be affected by National Grid’s planned power outage scheduled for Wednesday, September 9, beginning at approximately 9:00 PM and continuing through approximately 9:00 AM Thursday, September 10.

National Grid has significantly reduced the number of properties expected to be affected by the outage.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as information regarding this planned outage has continued to be updated.

The revised outage area now includes portions of:

Blake St, Broad St, Charles St, Court St, Dyer Ave, Linden St, Linden Pl, Park Ave, South Ave, Stetson St, and Whitman Ave.

🗺️ Updated Map: Properties highlighted in pink represent the estimated revised outage area. Not every property on the listed streets will necessarily be affected.

National Grid has notified customers whose electric service is expected to be interrupted.

Residents and businesses who are still expected to be affected are encouraged to prepare in advance and charge phones, medical equipment, and other necessary devices before the outage.

Please note that the schedule remains subject to change due to weather, system conditions, emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances.

☎️ To confirm whether your specific property will be affected, please contact National Grid Customer Service at 1-800-322-3223.

The Town will continue to share updates as additional information becomes available.
