Town of Plymouth Encourages Community Members to Participate in Fall 2026 Hometown Cleanup on Oct. 3
The Town and Sustainable Plymouth invite community members to participate in the Fall 2026 Hometown Cleanup event this week.
Community members are encouraged to join an existing group, create their own, or go out solo on Saturday, Oct. 3, to help clean up a neighborhood, park, or roadway as part of the Hometown Cleanup event. This event takes place rain or shine throughout the day at participants’ own pace.
Those interested in participating must register by Thursday, Oct. 1, on Sustainable Plymouth’s website or in person at the Town Hall Planning Office, 26 Court St.
Beginning this year, all participants must sign a waiver and return it to the Planning Office or via email to Assistant Conservation Planner Patrick Farah at PFarah@plymouth-ma.gov.
Participants are encouraged to drop off the waiver when they pick up their purple trash bags and safety vests from the Planning Office.
Those in need of location ideas are encouraged to review the Litter Hot Spot list.
Anyone with questions is encouraged to contact Assistant Conservation Planner Farah at PFarah@plymouth-ma.gov or 508-322-3374.
