BROCKTON MAN IDENTIFIED AS VICTIM IN FATAL EASTON TRACTOR-TRAILER CRASH

EASTON, Mass. — Fox reports that a 34-year-old Brockton man has been identified as the individual killed in a violent, fiery crash involving a work van and a tractor-trailer in Easton on Wednesday night.

According to the Bristol County District Attorney’s office, the collision occurred shortly before 7:00 p.m. on Turnpike Street (Route 138).

• The Incident: Authorities stated that a work van collided with a tractor-trailer, causing the van to become fully engulfed in flames.
• Casualties: The driver and sole occupant of the work van, identified as Danidelson Monteiro of Brockton, was pronounced dead at the scene.
• Injuries: The driver of the tractor-trailer sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for evaluation.

Emergency responders and investigators worked the scene for several hours, prompting temporary road closures along the busy regional corridor.
