PLYMOUTH, Mass. — A woman has died after being struck by a falling tree during severe weather in Plymouth on Monday, according to Fox 25 Boston.
Emergency responders rushed to the scene after receiving reports that a tree had fallen and hit the woman as powerful storms moved through the area. She was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries, where she later succumbed to those injuries.
Officials have not publicly identified the victim as authorities work to notify her family.
