Hit-and-Run Damage Reported Near Ocean Street and Taft Road
Marshfield, Mass. — Police activity was reported Tuesday evening after a vehicle was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run incident near the intersection of Ocean Street and Taft Road in Marshfield.
According to information published by CrimeRadar, the incident was reported at approximately 5:10 p.m. on Aug. 18, 2026. The report indicates that a caller said a vehicle backed into railroad ties and then left the area.
CrimeRadar’s dispatch information described the vehicle as a white BMW X5. The vehicle was reportedly seen leaving toward the center of town, and information concerning a Massachusetts registration was being sought.
Taft Road runs from Ocean Street toward Musket Road, according to the Town of Marshfield’s historical street information.
