Worker Hospitalized After Electrical Incident at Plymouth Job Site

Plymouth Mass-A worker was taken to the hospital Friday after suffering an electrical shock at a job site on Lake Drive in Plymouth.

According to emergency dispatch reports, the incident was initially reported as an electrocution at the work site. When first responders arrived, the injured worker was conscious, alert, and able to walk despite the electrical exposure. Emergency medical personnel evaluated the individual at the scene before transporting them to a local hospital for further treatment and evaluation.

Officials have not released the worker’s identity or the severity of the injuries. While the victim was able to walk, medical professionals often recommend hospital observation following electrical injuries because they can cause internal burns, heart rhythm abnormalities, or other complications that are not immediately visible.

The circumstances leading up to the incident have not been disclosed, and it remains unclear what type of work was being performed or what equipment was involved. No additional injuries were reported.

The incident remains under investigation. Additional information will be provided if authorities release further details.
