LAKEVILLE, Mass. — Emergency crews recovered a woman’s body from a pond in Lakeville on Tuesday, according to authorities.
Police and fire personnel responded to the scene after receiving a report of a person in the water. The woman was recovered from the pond, and officials have not yet released her identity pending notification of family.
The circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation. Authorities have not announced whether foul play is suspected, and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is expected to determine the cause and manner of death.
