Plymouth MA-This document is a news release from the Town of Plymouth Department of Public Works announcing a daytime road closure of Jordan Road in the vicinity of Route 3.
Closure Details:
- Dates: Monday, June 29, and Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
- Times: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
- Reason: MassDOT contractor roadwork.
Detour Information:
For Eastbound Traffic on Jordan Road:
- Turn right onto Long Pond Road.
- Continue on Long Pond Road, keep right to take MA-3 South, and merge to the left two lanes.
- Take Exit 12 to Plimoth Patuxet Highway.
- Take the first exit to Chiltonville/Plymouth Beach.
- Turn left onto Sandwich Road, then turn right onto Jordan Road to continue to your destination.
For Westbound Traffic on Jordan Road:
- Turn left onto Sandwich Road.
- Continue on Sandwich Road, turn left onto the ramp to MA-3 N/Boston, and merge onto Plimoth Patuxet Highway.
- Take Exit 15 for Long Pond Road and turn left onto Long Pond Road/South Street.
- Continue on Long Pond Road, then turn right onto Jordan Road to continue to your destination.
