MANSFIELD, Mass. — A Middleborough man was arrested Friday evening after police say he was caught secretly recording underneath a 13-year-old girl’s skirt during a concert at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield.

According to the Mansfield Police Department, the incident happened shortly after 6 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2026, during the Black Crowes and Whiskey Myers concert.

Police said a witness observed the alleged behavior and immediately notified Xfinity Center security. Security personnel quickly contacted officers who were working at the venue.

Investigators met with the victim and her family at the scene and launched an investigation. Police identified Brandon M. Cora, 27, of Middleborough, as the suspect

Cora was taken into custody at the concert venue and transported to the Mansfield Police Department for booking. He has been charged with photographing the sexual or intimate parts of a child.

Mansfield Police Chief Ronald Sellon praised the witness, the victim’s family, and venue security staff for acting quickly.

“Their response allowed officers to quickly intervene, secure evidence, and begin a thorough investigation into these serious allegations,” Sellon said in a statement released Monday, June 22.

Sellon added that police take crimes involving children seriously and remain committed to protecting young people from abuse and exploitation.

Cora was scheduled to be arraigned on Monday, June 22, in Attleboro District Court.

The allegations are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
