Marion Mass-Helicopter bait distribution is scheduled to begin May 12, 2026, and is expected to continue for approximately three days, weather permitting.
The baits will be dropped in areas commonly visited by rabies-carrying wildlife such as raccoons, foxes, and coyotes, while avoiding locations where people and pets are likely to encounter them.
The baits are generally not harmful to humans or domestic animals. However, if you find one, please report its location by calling 877-722-6725.
