BROCKTON, Mass. — Brockton police are actively investigating a serious motor vehicle collision that occurred on Tuesday evening, May 26, 2026, resulting in hospitalizations for both drivers involved.
The crash, which police confirmed involved a Yamaha motorcycle and a Mercedes C350, took place at approximately 7:33 p.m. near the intersection of Ames and Intervale streets.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene shortly after the incident was reported. Both drivers were transported to nearby hospitals for medical treatment. While the full extent of their injuries has not been officially released, authorities have characterized the collision as serious.
One neighbor reported hearing a loud “boom” and rushing outside to find the aftermath of the crash. The witness described seeing a woman who appeared visibly traumatized by the event.
As of Wednesday afternoon, the investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing. The Brockton Police Department is asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who has relevant information to come forward.
