CONSTRUCTION NOTICE: Town Wharf Way Sidewalk Project

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: 5/1/2026

PLYMOUTH, MA — The Town of Plymouth will begin the Town Wharf Way Sidewalk Project on Monday, May 4, 2026. This project involves the replacement and extension of the existing sidewalk system.

Project Details

• Location: Work starts at #16 Town Wharf Way and proceeds toward #145 Water Street.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Duration: Estimated completion within three weeks, weather permitting.
• Contractor: Lawrence-Lynch Corp.

Impact on Residents and Motorists

To ensure safety, traffic barrels and signage will be deployed. Please anticipate the following:

• Temporary parking restrictions and minor traffic delays.
• Possible daytime detours.
• Driveway Access: Occasional restrictions may occur for 2-3 days while concrete is curing. Residents are requested to use alternative parking during this time.
