Paving Notification for Pembroke Residents

Date: Sunday, April 26th, 2026,

Pembroke MA-The Town of Pembroke would like to inform residents that Gravity Construction, Inc. from Plainville, MA, has been contracted to carry out essential water system upgrades, which will include repaving work on the following streets:

• Oldham Street: From the Hanson town line to the intersection with Pine Tree Lane.
• Center Street: Between Elliott Avenue and Littles Avenue.

Project Schedule:

• Start Date: Paving activities are set to begin on Sunday, April 26th, 2026.
• Expected Duration: The paving process will take approximately 2-3 weeks for both Center Street and Oldham Street.

Working Hours:

• Center Street: Milling and paving will occur overnight from 7:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.
• Oldham Street: Milling and paving will take place during the daytime on Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Access Information:

Access will be maintained for essential vehicles and residents will have unimpeded access to their driveways. However, all other vehicles are encouraged to seek alternate routes during the paving operations.

Safety Precautions:

Due to the presence of heavy construction equipment and machinery, residents are urged to exercise caution when traveling through the construction area. Please ensure that children and pets remain a safe distance away from all construction activities.

Points of Contact:

The Town has enlisted the assistance of Apex Companies, LLC, as an Engineering Representative to monitor the work and facilitate communication between the community and the contractor. Apex personnel will be available on-site throughout the construction period to address any questions or concerns.
