? What this means for Plymouth-County high-school hockey

• Marshfield remains active in both boys and girls hockey — with competitive results, playoff appearances, and recognition for sportsmanship.
• The county’s teams (like Marshfield) are integrated into statewide tournaments run by the MIAA — so local performance can lead to state-level exposure (e.g. playing at TD Garden).
• Community interest & institutional decisions (e.g., school-board votes) still shape hockey accessibility — as seen in Marshfield’s recent rejection of a JV-girls team despite interest.
