The Ongoing Search for Sandra Crispo, the Hanson MA Woman Missing Since 2019

Hanson, MA – six years after Sandra Crispo mysteriously vanished from her Hanson home, new information has surfaced, breathing fresh life into the cold case and offering a glimmer of hope for her family and friends.

Sandra’s quaint home in Hanson, Mass,

Crispo, then 57, was last seen on August 8, 2019, at her 47 Spofford Ave residence. Her disappearance sparked an extensive search involving local and state police, K-9 units, and even helicopters. Despite these efforts, no trace of Crispo was ever found, leaving her whereabouts and the circumstances surrounding her disappearance shrouded in mystery.

While authorities have remained tight-lipped about the specifics of the new leads, sources close to the investigation confirm that detectives have been actively pursuing several new avenues in recent months. These leads are reportedly based on information that has come to light through renewed community outreach and a recent review of previously collected evidence.

“This is still very much an active investigation,” stated a spokesperson for the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office. “We understand the pain and uncertainty that Ms. Crispo’s family has endured over the past four years. We are committed to following every credible lead and bringing closure to this case.”

While the exact nature of the “new information” remains undisclosed, police are stressing the importance of community involvement. They are urging anyone who may have any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, to come forward.

“Even the smallest detail could prove to be the missing piece of the puzzle,” the spokesperson continued. “We are appealing to the public to examine their memories from that time period and contact us if anything seems relevant.”

The Crispo family, while cautiously optimistic, has expressed gratitude for the renewed focus on the case. “We are praying that this new information will finally lead us to answers,” said a family member in a statement released through a family representative. “We miss Sandra terribly and just want to know what happened to her.”

Authorities are encouraging anyone with information to contact the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office at (508) 584-8120 or the Hanson Police Department at (781) 293-4625. Tipsters can also remain anonymous.

The disappearance of Sandra Crispo has remained a painful open wound in the Hanson community. The renewed investigation and the emergence of new leads offer a renewed hope that the truth will finally be uncovered and those responsible, if any, will be brought to justice.
